Firstname to Gender Guesser
Almost one year past and no post, what a blog! Well, I am not even trying to find reasons why I was so lazy. Anyway, here is a piece of recent work: Inspired by the True Knowledge API have I written my own version of a firstname to gender guesser. It has its focus mainly on german speaking countries within Europe. You can try it out here. It is available in english and german and there is a xml interface to it as well. Feedback is welcome.
