Firstname to Gender Guesser
Inspired by the True Knowledge API have I written my own version of this. It has its focus on Europe and mainly the german speaking part of it. You can try it out here.

Apart from being my personal playground for Google Maps, some AJAX, a PayPal ‘donation’ button and some Google Ads the purpose of this project is to having some fun and maybe getting some answers to the following questions: Is there ever someone going to be who actually donates something if you have this paypal button on your site and stay more or less anonymous? Or are all these buttons out there a waste of time and bytes? How long will it take to get the domain registration fee back with Google Ads money? Is the year long enough? Read more in this post.
